Freezing rain warning in effect for Kingston
(Dec 22, 2017 - Kingston, ON) Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for:
- Kingston - Odessa -
Frontenac Islands - Napanee - Consecon
- Picton - Sandbanks Park
Freezing rain is expected or occurring.
Freezing rain is expected to begin overnight or early Saturday morning. The freezing rain will change to snow Saturday morning or early Saturday afternoon. Most areas will see several hours of freezing rain and amounts near 2 to 5 mm.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Utility outages may occur.
